So we set off down the great ocean road..
We headed to Geelong, great name... Which is not far from Bells beach where the supposed big wave that kills patrick swayze in the film point break is. Surfer tastic! Passing swiftly we went to Lorne, our place to stay for the night.
Lorne is a nice stop off along the ocean road, lots of backpackers and travelers.. And your random Ozzie lads on tour, groups. One of the these groups nearly caused me to spit out my beer as one of them warned his also inebriated friend, "Don't spew mate, you'll waste it!" Sad but definitely true.
Oz land also has a lot of cockatoos which are as common as your average sparrow! Ballsy too. They literally hang out and make a lot of noise. But are quite entertaining...
We stayed at the Cumberland cabins just out of Lorne, a lovely spot. Then we headed into town for a few beers. The weather wasn't fantastic but hell I'm in bladdy austaaallliiiaaa...
Meanwhile back at the ranch, we tucked into some top tucker oz style... Meat and salad, and got down to some roasting..
Jess the fire starter treated us to an impromptu aboriginal dance accompanied by a didgeridoo.
