Of Sydney my true love gave to me... Nothing, I've not found my true love but Sydney's not far off.
After arriving by plane and heading over to Manley by ferry, and being picked up by my next hosts Mr and Mrs Hayes. Bernie and I got down to some real excursion planning...and Carol cooked me a full English to start my first day! Winner!
Tuesday found me traveling on the lovely Manley ferry to circular quay and straight up Pitt street. Shopaholic, no, I forgot my SD card and was photoless. Popped in to the first electro deal store and came out with an SD, new lens and a Tom Tom. All for a bargain price. As I'll be renting a car at the end of this week I inquired about a sat nav to rent with the car rental... $ 554 they quoted.....Err no thanks I'll just buy one for $ 99 Ta!
I took a large walk which started around downtown central Sydney, then on to Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay, Millers Point, Dawes Point and The Rocks.
Random dance off down Pitt street.
Bridge in the distance
Why do people take pictures with the ipad? This dude on the the right was, yep they were English.
This building reminds me of the one from ghostbusters, the one where Sigorney Weaver is waiting for the gate keeper to give her one, just after marshmallow man gets it.
